Chuseok at Kim's Home Center: Setting the Table Since 1979

Every year around this time, our family begins planning which side dishes to make, who's bringing the songpyeon, and whether we have enough spoons for everyone at the table. All this is done to prepare for Chuseok, the holiday that transforms our ordinary household into a bustling, warm gathering place.

Chuseok, often called Korean Thanksgiving, is one of Korea's most important holidays. Traditionally celebrated around the autumn harvest, it is a time for families to come together, share food, honor their ancestors, and give thanks for the year's harvest.
